Tail light for my Rixe is from a 1933 Plymouth.
It was a 6V backup light. I tried putting a red lens in it, but got only a dim glow - It drew too much current for my little generator. So I series wired three 1.5V red leds and soldered them to an old 6V bulb base. Now it works great!
