i am inspired to ride across canada .. never done anything like this before .. seeking reflections on possible journey time and any random advices ..

most say it takes around 3 months.

Wed, June 27, 2007 - 11:25 AMI rode from Victoria (on Vancouver Island) to Jasper in Alberta. I'd be glad to give you the play by play if you are really interested. I use a road bike with a trailer and so didn't take the official cross Canada trail- which needs sturdier tires. I just used regular highways. It was a fantastic trip, I would soooooo highly recommend it. I did it alone and had no problems whatsoever. Drivers are polite and nice. Men are gentlemen. Fun all around.
