I want to do a short, quick ride from Seattle down to Porland in June. I'm trying to decide which route. The Pacific Coast route seems a bit out of the way (ie, it might take me 6 days rather than the 3 or 4 I have available). There is a popular 200-mile STP (Seattle to Portland) bike ride every summer, and I was thinking of taking that route. It pretty much follows I-5, but I don't know if its a scenic ride or not. I'm hoping some folks here have ridden one or both and can give me some ideas or suggestions. I'll be leaving Seattle on June 2nd.
